This is awesome, at first I thought this was a Cajun or a redneck😂 but Auzzy makes sense too lol
Thanks for watching mate
You sir have earned yourself a subscription. Good huntin from Texas!
Thanks mate welcome to the channel
Nothing more Australian than the "ah fuck sakes" ... Good shit mate
@King Jon Starkgeryan lever guns are nice!
@King Jon Starkgeryan love it also and the 45 70.
@john ellithorp cough 30-30 cough
Calmest day on the Ohio river
I’m Chinese served in Australia, got a bolt action rifle too and before covid we used to hunt a lot, the worst was wild mature boars, these things are big, i bled it with salt so we can have blood pudding, gutted it, put it on a 4by4 to the farmers house and he will help us carve it up, great times
No I haven't but it sounds kinda yucky, however, it must be good
@Hunting with Stu have you ever tried lung soup? Once you bleed it and gut it out, with the right spices taste great
Good stuff mate
Being Australia, I was kind of assuming something would come and drag it away before you could paddle over there!
Anakin you were the chosen one😂
"oh for fucks sake" -anybody trying to be still in a kayak
That rifle looks like one hell of a workhorse!
@rowdy broomsticktrue that. I have one in 300win mag and another in 25-06
@Hunting with Stu left handed too eh?
@rowdy broomstick that they sre I got a 308 flat bolt from 69 fuckers a tack driver I can get 4 inch groups at 1500
@Hunting with Stu Ruger M77 is a damn good rifle 😉
@Operator_Max1993 the kind you throw in the yak or ranger and forget about. Doesn't get cleaned, don't care about rust, just kills shit.
I've never been hunting. No, I take that back. I once got a deer, but it was with a 1981 Pontiac.
LOL good stuff mate. A kill is a kill.
I've been wanting to do that, but with my bow. There is a spot where I go kayak fishing, and almost every time I see pigs on the bank.. That is awesome
Do it mate
Tough badtards. Those short squeals are satisfying to say the least. That's when you KNOW you plugged them!
Good shot man. Not easy to shoot from a moving kayak at a moving target.
Great video and lovely rifle!
It's not often I see someone hunting lefthanded, well done!
@Hunting with Stu No problem, lefthanded shooting is very impressive, as not many people do that.
You my friend are one hell of a shot. Not only is the kayak moving all around but the pig is too. Damn fine shooting sir
Well done. That lefty Ruger looks like it has seen a bit of use. Not many places left on the planet you can hunt from a kayak.
Yes it has done a lot of work mate
This is disgusting, how could you do this?Wait, correction.. this shot was disgusting. I mean, from a kayak while it’s rotating? Great shot
I like the part when it falls down the hill.
Didn't know it was legal to hunt from a kayak.... this may become my new and favorite hobby. Hunting is already hard... but from a kayak? Sign me up.
Great shot! What caliber?
I’m from New Jersey. We call that pork roll hehe lol
Definitely! Much love from Cali
I wanna try!
Someone's eating porkchop tonight! Good shot
I’m gunna go with a no because he sounds Australian and I know there’s crocodiles bigger than that kayak
Yup I'm an Aussie mate and yes crocs get way bigger than my kayak
I just realized something, you're left handed. Or at least using a left handed rifle. The last time I've seen a left handed rifle was my great uncle's Winchester in .270
Yes I am mate
Damn that shot
The only thing I notice was that your a lefty it’s fun to see other lefties out there good shooting 😂🎉🎉
Love the beat up old rifle pulling more than it's weight
Dude that’s somebody’s son you just shot😂
watch out for crocs
Hahahh great shooting mate 💪
I would 💯 buy butchered wild boar if coles sold it
I spear carp at night in ice cold winters from my kayak here in Wisconsin
Is that what you call it nowadays? We used to call it "sex in a boat"
What’s it chambered in?
Hai leprosy so relaxing and fun gating them dam hobs but sharp to gun long shoot
That looks fun
Nice shot man. Are crocs a worry where you are?
Thanks mate no crocs in this stretch of water.
Put a life jacket on them float them home.
me and my brother have always wanted to do that with ducks at our beach house but have never gotten the chance! I think its a great idea!
I've seen people shoot pigs from a helicopter, and crocodiles from a large bass boat. But never have I ever seen someone shoot from a kayak
Well there ya go mate, ha.
Love the shot skill and I would have loved to see this hog strapped on the front of your kayak rolling down the river like an old ford back in the day!!
No doubt brother. Here in Florida he'd stand a pretty good chance of some gator trying to snatch it out the front of his boat. Wouldn't that be crazy?
What caliber is that? Seemed rather large for a pig that size ..it's hard to tell in a video but sounded and looked like maybe a 30.06?
Yes it is well n truly enough gun and I could even us a 243 but I just like putting them down fast.
@Hunting with Stu sound theory but it still seems like a bit much unless you typically have much much longer shots ? Basically what I'm saying is yes it works fine and does the job but the power behind the round seems much more than necessary ..but then again use what you have and works well without question
Correct mate 30/06, I go by the theory of bangin em down fast. 'Pig runs...bang...pig stops running'!
that scope looks like it's been threw some shit
How did you collect it? I'm assuming there's not enough room for you and a pig in your kayak
When we hunt with our pro shooter he collects the meat.
@Hunting with Stu that's sad, there's alot of food to just leave it on the bank
We are there to thin out numbers so we leave them mate
Your video inspired me!.. I wanna build a fishing pole rifle AK style st. Croix?
Pleased to have inspired you mate
Looks so relaxing and fun. Good shit. Great work getting them damn hogs.
brilliant shop bro top marks
Some Hella good eating 🐗😋😋😋
Nice, very nice 🙂😎👍
that's a great way of hunting. got a good place to clean up after gutting it also. good shot also 👌👏
need to put it out of its misery a little faster than just casually watching it suffer.
What you are seeing is nerves
Nice to see that kayaking course we put you through in 09 has paid off Stu!
@Hunting with Stu just cruising mate. Drinking beers and chasing steers in the Snowy Mountains.
LOL correct Ollie, how are you Bro?
is that a 6mm ruger? if it is i got the same one
@Hunting with Stu nice gun bro
@Hunting with Stu oh ok
Saltie 🐊swimming in that river or no?🤔
No salties in this water
Just a stupid question , Is that gun enough to kill an adult elephant ? How much is that caliber ? Nice video btw ❤️
Hi mate, there used to be an elephant hunter back in the late 1800s (Pondoro Taylor) and he used a 275 cal which is not as powerful as a 30/06. However, I wouldn't recommend it for elephant hunting.
Accuracy 100Btw what kind of sniper is that?
Ruger M77 MKII in 30/06 mate
This is the Tim Wells of kayak pig hunting. You, my man, are a precision shooter!
@Hunting with Stu, it's always a great pleasure. I enjoy your videos.
I that looks like so much fun
Nice way to rust you’re gun all up
Correct mate, yes I give the guns a good clean after the days work
Hog was dead before he hit the ground
But still you better be cleaning that sucker after that hunt but nice shot floating on a kayak with the hog moving uphill 80 100 yards away
My guns are not cabinet guns mate.
Damn that looks like fun.👍
It’s amazing there’s a wild pig problem I mean with the high prices of food all I see is free bacon
@shootabigmale too picky, not hungry enough
@GoatMan you're talking shit, and that's how they taste.
@shootabigmale It's all in the preparation.
@shootabigmale they are way way better than farm pork, cook it and properly clean it and it's really good.
@shootabigmale I've killed 3 so far and all tasted great. Just a lot more lean than farmed pork.
If I’m mistaken correct me bud that .270 is badass
@Hunting with Stu from the video you couldn’t really tell unless you seen it in a still photo thanks for sharing with us and appreciate the kind reply back
you have a really good shot to be shooting off of a kayak that’s baddass
Good kill that looks fun
Do the crocs clean up pigs?
Up north they do.
looks like a 30.06
Я думал на рыбалке плывёт, а он так охотится, Прикольно конечно, Вот если бы он ещё вместо ружья достал лук и пронзил его стрелой, было бы вообще чётко, это так гармонировало бы с каяком)))))
Yes a bow would be better
well this is new I've seen waterfowl on kayak and pigs from helicopters but this is awesome love how there's mud on your rifle gives the feeling like you've been here for days
Thanks mate yes it is a cool way to hunt
All killer and no filler.A great offhand shot too, looks like you punched it right to the shoulder and lungs and you rolled that sow right down to the water's edge. It's kind of curious about the rifle, I've got a stainless one with a blue scope but I used to have a stainless scope on a blued rifle, odd that.Good job man.
naa avu થાય
Thanks mate, it is a Ruger M77 MKII in 30/06 I have a black Burris on it now.
Great shot from that position and a moving kayak.
You still filling the crack in the kayak with mud, or you got a newer one? I laughed so hard when you told that story.
Yes mate something like that but it is still holding well enough
@Hunting with Stu Did you put the old Flex Seal to it? You could build your book yourself a boat in the wilderness with that stuff they say.
Same kayak but I sealed it up with heaps of sealant
Great shooting man, 👍 I couldn't hold that shot for nothing freestanding, and you did it from a kayak? 👌
Just practice is all mate
A friend of mine got his first deer as it was swimming by his boat, cut its throat! Made great jerky 👨🏻⚕️😜👍
That is savage as hell.lol
Hell of a shot partner!
Well timed shot, you'd be an amazing shooter if you weren't wrong handed. Seriously though is that an LPVO or is your sight picture is just so well practiced that you don't lose the target at 10 yards with a 5x scope?
4 x power is the best
That’s damn impressive.
I want this guy on my team!!!!
Using a small paddle craft allows accessing remote areas without stomping cross country scaring everything.
Damn what is that a 308?
@Hunting with Stu hell ya, id just be afraid of the recoil rolling the boat
That was a damn good shot from a kayak👍
I believe it is illegal to hunt from a boat where I live
Feral hogs are a plague in the southern states. This just has to be done.
Great shot Scottie!
You rolled that pig! Nicely done, sir!
Nice shot from a kayak. Impressive
DIDNT GOOO 20!!!
LOL correct mate
Is wild hog good eaten? If so that's a great food source for hungry people and good fun.
